IARS gratefully acknowledges the women of anesthesia! The women highlighted below represent just a few of the many remarkable women with whom we are fortunate to collaborate. They guide and enrich our educational programs, research efforts and provide mentorship to those who follow. IARS is proud to encourage and support women in medicine along their important journey by ensuring access to a multitude of valuable resources and opportunities for connection with experts in the field of anesthesiology and beyond!
During 2022, IARS awarded three of its Mentored Research Awards to women anesthesiology investigators for their outstanding promise to become future leaders and further the understanding of clinical practice in anesthesiology!
