The 2026 application period is now closed.
An exclusive opportunity for IARS members located in low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries, the IARS International Outreach Travel Grant supports global scientific exchange and helps increase the diversity of perspectives, backgrounds and research in anesthesiology.
Are you conducting research related to anesthesiology or perioperative medicine that you want to share with the global anesthesiology community? Are you interested in attending the 2026 Annual Meeting, presented by IARS and SOCCA, May 1-3, in Montreal, Canada?
The IARS travel grants aim to make it possible for abstract presenters, who would not otherwise be able to participate in the meeting, to access the wider global anesthesiology community through meaningful engagement at our leading-edge annual meeting.
Award Presentation: Presented during the International Science Symposium at the IARS Annual Meeting
Watch this webinar recording to gain practical guidance on developing a compelling abstract, crafting a competitive application, and understanding what reviewers look for in successful submissions.
