Congratulations to the 2024 Anesthesia & Analgesia and A&A Practice Editorial Award Winners!
For the first time this year, editorial awards were presented to authors to recognize important articles published in the IARS journals during a special awards session, “Anesthesia & Analgesia and A&A Practice Editorial Awards Session” on Sunday, May 19 at the 2024 Annual Meeting, presented by IARS and SOCCA. Awards included A&A Editors’ Choice, A&A Practice Editors’ Choice, Top Cited and Top Viewed. An engaged group of editors and attendees gathered to discover who was recognized for each award and to learn more about these vital manuscripts and research. Of the six awardees, three recipients (Monica Vavilala, MD, Caitlin Akard Bradley, MD, and Sherri Ozawa, MSN, RN) joined in person to present while two more (Hai Yu, MD, PhD and Jean Wong, MD, FRCPC) were able to share their research virtually with the group. Unfortunately, one recipient (Carmen E. Lopez, MD) was unable to present.
Anesthesia & Analgesia Editor-in-Chief Jaideep Pandit, MA, DPhil, FRCA, DM, University of Oxford, led this exciting spotlight on important research published in the journals. Congratulations to all the recipients!
